Abstract: The aim of this article is an analyze students´ tasks related to spatial ability from the point of view of the theory of the didactical constructivism. We specify some misconceptions in students’ knowledge structure in the conception of the cube buildings and we identify the causes of failure in the students’ solutions. Selected sample of respondents were the students in the study field Pre-school and Elementary Education at Pedagogical faculty CPU in Nitra.
