Full paper	(Pupil's Mathematical Competencies in Solving Geometrical Open Problem)

Abstract: For mapping of development and level of key competencies of students in mathematics, particularly competencies: analysing situations, revaluation possible strategies of solving and choice and description of original solving process, are appropriate open mathematical problems. For solving open problems, requiring mathematical inquiring, students do not use customary techniques or simple application of standard algorithms. Assessment of solution of open tasks and mathematical inquiring also requires nonstandard approach of assessor. In this paper it is proposed a concept of observing a solving process of students and assessment of specific aspects of open mathematical problem solving. Solutions are demonstration of higher level of mathematical thinking of students in geometry. The proposed system of rubrics (tables of assessment) indicates revealed demonstrated mathematical competencies of students in assessed solving process. Rubrics were compiled with the aim on assessment of mathematical knowledge of students based on performance standard according to State Education Programme of Slovak Republic.
