Abstract: From the point of view of effective education, improving the competences of mathematics teachers is a necessary process. The form of their education is just as important as the content of their further education. On the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University, we are providing accredited continual education for teachers of mathematics in e-learning form for several years, from the area of geometry and didactics of mathematics. Through this distance method, their digital competencies are being improved, as well. This contribution is describing the continual education from its content and formal perspective, as well as experience regarding educating teachers.
