Abstract: In this paper, we focused on teaching geometry, as this part of mathematics causes basic and secondary school students difficulties and is also one of the less popular ones. We have designed specific didactic problems, including innovative methodologies from the perspective of the teacher which uses inquiry-based learning, while we have chosen guided inquiry. In this paper, we present the possibility of how to innovate teaching using an inquiry approach at secondary mathematics education. We implemented the mentioned problems into the teaching process at primary and secondary school and subsequently, we presented pedagogical reflection as an important part of the educational work of mathematics teachers.
