Full paper	(Strategy for Solving Selected Problems of the Regional Round of the Mathematical Olympiad in the Z9 Category in the School Year 2016/2017)

Abstract: In this article, we focus on the need to motivate pupils in mathematical studies by organizing competitions and encouraging them to join competitions. We present a list of current mathematical competitions currently organized in Slovakia. Approximately 15-year-old pupils have the opportunity to compete in the Z9 category of the Mathematical Olympiad. We analyze strategies for solving two problems of the regional round of the 66th year of RR MO Z9 (KK MO Z9) in the Nitra region and we are processing the success rate for these tasks in this round.
