Full paper	(The Importance of Geometry in Technical Education of Pupils at Lower Secondary Level)

Abstract: The paper deals with the importance of Geometry in the development of technical thinking of students. Based on the results of the research carried out on a sample of lower secondary school pupils we point out that quality acquisition of knowledge in the field of geometry is important in acquiring knowledge and skills in technical education. On the basis of the students' outcomes analysis we identified objective reasons affecting the score the pupils obtained in the tests. The results also suggest a correlation between the pupils' knowledge of Geometry and Technology.
