Abstract: In this article, we focus on a-priori analysis as a part of teacher’s lesson planning. Teacher should conduct the lesson in such a way as to appropriately stimulate the pupils' thought processes, so all didactic activities should be prepared and planned by the teacher. We chose problem from solid geometry, which was solved by secondary school pupils. The aim of this article is to show the importance of using a-priori analysis of a given problem in stereometry solved by high school students. The analysis can be part of the teacher's preparation for the teaching process.
