Abstract: Math word problems are an essential component of the teaching process of Mathematics. For many pupils, solving verbal problems from Mathematics is an undesirable activity. The paper presents results of students, which are based on one test focused on solving of indirectly formulated problems. Selected students are from the study field Pre-school and Elementary Education.
