Abstract: General development of spatial ability is one of the important topics in school mathematics. In this article, we focus on the solution of three spatial geometric tasks of future primary school teachers. The research sample consisted of 78 Bachelor´s students of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. The data were collected in September 2021. Using the statistical implicit analysis, we revealed the connections between used and unused cube nets by students during the previous study. The research findings indicate problems of the students with applications of unused cube nets.
